Nintendo and Retro Gaming: the buyer's guide
Before jumping into retro gaming, it is important to know a few things to make sure you are making the right choice. The vast majority of the retro gaming products you will find, online or in a specialized store, will be classified as second-hand products.
Some retailers will try out the products first to make sure it is fully working, even repair some elements (with a bit of cleaning at the same time). If you are planning to buy any form of hardware or software, make sure you ask the seller if it has been tested, or some elements have been replaced to make it work. You don't want to end up with a bad surprise once playing the games, unless it is purely to collect or display in your room :)
Hardware such as gaming devices, controllers and cables can be very tricky when it is about time to get your hands on it. Most of the customers are looking for products as close as possible to brand new: not impossible, but hard to find! In this case, better know what makes a "good looking" console:
-The colors can fade, especially white: it will become yellowish with the time
-Scratches from poorly managed storage unit, or by all the manipulations
-Bent, broken, cracked parts: easy to spot, but perfectionnist will look at every details. If the whole console is perfect BUT with a single crack, we will only see this

Before becoming one of the largest video games company of the world, Nintendo was selling various non-electronic products, including sexy models cards to collect or trade.
Actually, you can still find some games inspired from this era of Nintendo with some NES cardridges!
Browse Nintendo by your favorite gaming device
Lucky you, Nintendo never ceased to develop new gaming devices, and we have listed the most popular ones. NES held the record for the most sold console of all time until 2006, so it is definitely a device you don't want to miss. However, every single console is worth having a look at: Nintendo is known for quality and originality after all.Mario has always been the most popular: easy to play, the public is in love with the licence, kids can spend hours on it, and adult speedrunners, minutes!
Apart from this licence, Pokémon is following these steps by being the second biggest success of Nintendo, regarding the video game. If we take in account the merch and goodies, Pokémon is from far the biggest toys merchant of the world !
Third, Wii Series and The Legend of Zelda are getting quite close. We can expect Zelda to take over with all the recent adaptations and remake of the popular games. As per saying remake, we might be saying that the most popular ones (and originals) are available on our store *wink wink*
Did you know ?
The Mario and Super Mario series were the most sold games of all time for Nintendo. You might think that Pokémon could have been the number one, but the Mario licence sold twice as much games.
It is even bigger than The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros, Donkey Kong and Kirby... all together!
